15 days free trial is a serious and huge ripoff!

Hi to every one, first I would like to clarify that there are several companies selling this product and the one in particular doing the ripoff "by my acknowledgment is describe as following: This company logo of is a bunches of three purple berries followed by the name ACAI3 and a letter X in the same color of the berries.

My name is Maryola and in the day of April 16 (a Thursday) I was redirect to this ACAI3X website by and advertisement. I was in not economic condition to buy the product at that moment BUT there was a free 15 days trial offer in place that specifically explained that was for a short period of time only. After reading the information of this fabulous product I decide to take advantage of the opportunity to try it for free after remembering that I heard about that in Oprah TV program.

This company requested my credit card information for the free trial.in this website there is not information about the step to fallow in order to cancel the subscription. I assume that I would be provide with the right information with the arrival of the product.

It took 5 business day to receive the bottler of ACAIX3 (I placed the order on the Thursday 16, five business days after that was next Thursday of April 23) that in reality was 8 days from the moment of the order been place. The product arrived with not information for the cancellation or a phone number. I got in the website one more time looking for that information and couldn't find any clue about a phone number or address. Not customer service or any kind of contact information with this company. I started using the product immediately and after 5 days only a total of 13 days have already pass. I had an alarm in my cell phone for the April 28 to remind me about the cancellation before the 15 day expiration.

I pass all those days searching the website for a number or any way of contact.
Finally after putting a reading glasses I was able to recognize the almost invisible letter on the button of the website page. On the last line there was a Term and conditions unlined. I decide to click on it and surprising took me to a page where I found a phone number to call in for customer service.

I called in and after waiting for a long time I was able to make the cancellation and got my confirmation number. Very upset with the fact the took me so long to discover the phone number I complained to the agent on the phone about it. I specifically let him know that I was not going to buy the product from their company in the future because It seen to be opvious that the company was making difficult for clients to make the cancellation on time NOT PROVIDING their phone number on their website or with the product arrival.

I told him that I did not trust the company and I wanted to made sure that my credit card was not going to be charge at any moment. This person assure me that that was not going to happen, that everything is been take care of. That was on April 28.

On April 30 I went to my bank and request a print out of my bank account activities and by my surprise there was a charge of $89. And changes on my account from the ACAIX3 company on April 26. That was two days before I called for my cancellation. The agent that did the cancellation was able to see that my card have been charged already and didn't mentioned to me, he hided that information from me.

That was a Saturday, office were close. On next Monday I had a busy day and couldn't call this company. On Tuesday May 5 I called this company customer service to complain and request the complete charge amount to be return to my bank account.

One of there agent explained to me that the free 15 days trial would apply to the fact that they send out a amount of pill enough for 15 days and the cancellation need it to be done after the free 10 day trial from the moment that the order was placed and that explanation was CLEARLY mark on the website page on that almost impossible to read button paragraph.

That would give me only 3 days to try the product (including the 10 day of the free trial). Remember the order was place on April 16, the product arrived 8 days after on the 23 (including the day when the order was placed)

This company is using the same term of free 15 days trial in the terms and conditions page with not clear connection to the small letters with the 10 days trial. I copy and paste all that from the website.

Website page
"After this ten day trial, you will be billed the reduced price of eighty eight dollars and fifty five cents a month."

Terms and conditions page

1. Beginning on the day that You place an order for a product (Product) from the Website, Your fifteen (15) day Free Trial period begins (Free Trial Period). The Free Trial Period is calculated in calendar days, not business days.

1. You will be shipped a thirty (30) day supply of the Product You ordered. Generally, Your Product is shipped 3 to 5 days after placing Your order. Delivery time is subtracted from Your Free Trial Period, and will reduce the number of days allocated to Your Free Trial Period. If You want to extend Your Free Trial Period due to slow postal delivery or delayed pickup, You must call Our Customer Service Department toll-free at 1-866-949-0138. Reasonable requests (as determined by FWM) to extend Your Free Trial Period generally will be granted.

If you read on the above paragraphs they offer a (30) day supply of the product, by that, there is not reasonable connection between the free 15 days trial and the amount of pills that I was suppose to receive. Reality I receive 30 pills and the instructions in the bottler read two pills per day. Them I only received enough pills for 15 day and they advertise 30 day supply.

There was not clear explanation about the company phone number not showing in the website and on his eyes the fact that the number could be found hiding under terms and conditions was completely normal.
