A change of tires changed my life and mind

We needed tires so we went for the deal they had at Firestone while the car was there Firestone decided we needed Ty rods they offered us a credit card that would give us thirty days same as cash better known as the cfna card. The first problem came in when we paid our bill at the Firestone and did not realize that if you pay at Firestone and we were charged a late fee plus removed from the 90 days same as cash because if you pay at the store then it takes 3days to process the payment. We called the company and she offered no explanation she just said she would remove the late fee but we would still have to pay for the interest that now accrued on the card which by the way was over $20.00 the next month comes and we go to the store to pay for the bill which was due on the 8th and notice at the bottom of the receipt that there is a little note that says if you pay on the due date it will be considered late because Firestone only excepts the payments as a courtesy. After calling and talking with a "representative" she says that is right but you can make a payment on line but she neglected to tell me that the payment must be received before 5:00pm.
I tried to call and talk to a manager the next day and her response was you had all month to pay your bill and you should have paid it before the due date. Another words too bad we have you where we want you and there is nothing you can do about it but pay your bill or have your credit ruined. She is right and we will be paying this bill but if I can warn anyone before entering into a Firestone of this what I consider to be a scam I will. Please consider this to be a strong warning.By the way did I mention that after receiving new Ty rods and a set of brand new tires along with a 600.00 credit bill as I was going down I 75 my tire broke completely off of my car and broke the drive shaft on my car and they offered to drive my bill up even further with charging me another 600.00. I could be wrong but I don't believe there is a mechanic in Firestone over the age of 50 unless he is managing the shop. These are well intended untalented mechanics who should stick to changing tires and oil.
