I purchased 2 Firestone Destination LE tires from independently owned Siesta Tires on 12/8. On 1/11 with less than 500 miles on the tires, 1 tire had separated about 8 inches at the center tread. I took the tire back for a replacement, Mr. Flores refused to even look at the tire or offer a replacement. I called Firestone/Bridgestone they confirmed that independently owned dealers do not have to honor any warranty. Within a few days, the other tire began to separate. I do have a case with Firestone, the number is: 1239016, however since there is not a Firestone Dealer within a 120 miles from here, Firestone refuses to help. I am the owner of my vehicle, I paid cash ($361.20) for the tires, and have since gone ahead and purchased 4 new Goodyear tires from Wal-Mart. Firestone admits there is a recall on Destination AT Tires, but refuses any help with the Destination LE claiming they are my problem to deal with. I want my money back, and I would like everyone to know that Mr. Flores does not stand behind the products that he sells.
