Texas Utilities Company, TXU Fraudulent Credit Reporting

Last month i received a credit alert from my monitoring service that my credit score had gone down. I opened it up and discovered that TXU had placed a collection account on my credit. This struck me as odd since i havent had TXU since 2003 and have switched eletricity providers several times in the past 7 years.
I called TXU and was informed that i did not owe them any money and did not have a current account with them. I called their main office in Dallas and was told that I owed $163 for a guard light in 2003 that i requested to never be turned on in the first place. Back in 2003 when i had this TXU account we had requested the guard light be turned off and TXU messed up and switched it to a seperate account instead of turning it off. We called them back then and the supervisor we talked to saw that we had requested the guard light off and removed the charges. We never recieved a bill after this point.
Now 6.5 years later TXU has placed this on my credit as a charge off with a date opened of 1/1970... (btw I am currently 40... Do the math) on one report and a 12 date on the other report.
A week after this event TXU went back in to my credit report and added a 90 day late alert.
Today i recieved my first response from Transunion about me disputing this and the findings showed a zero balance owed... A zero high amount... And account closed 9. Which still isnt accurate since i switched from TXU to Entergy in January. I got the correct dates from Oncor.
All of this has dropped my credit rating from 791 to 642.
Sure seems like a strange time to place a collections on someone when it turns out they dont even have money owed to them.
I feel like TXU has commited credit Defamation and has been malicious with reporting this not once with the supposed charge off... But hit me twice with a supposed 90 day late.
Just letting you guys know that this is the type of company you are dealing with if you ever have issues with them yourself.
I currently have a credit repair guy working on this for me. He thinks I should file on them in small claims court. We will see how it turns out.
