This is the same situation other people have reported where unsolicited text messages are received on your mobile phone. I receive spam text messages on occasion and just ignored them as anyone would ignore email spam.
This company has somehow put me on their list and started sending me messages which cost AU$4.55 ea. I called them to request a refund and they said their system for getting mobile numbers is reliable. It was "not their policy" to refund any money to anyone and that she was "sorry".
When talking to the lady who answered the phone, she was clearly located in some international country and the line very scratchy and breaking up and we had to constantly repeat ourselves.
The charges on my mobile account were in the category of Premium SMS messages Rcvd to a monly total of $22.75. Two of the messages I received in the same minute, 16 Dec at 2:53pm.
Is there really anyone that would knowingly pay $4.55 for texts which have little substance to them???
If you have been thieved from by this company, there is likely not much you can do unless you can get their physical address overseas and go in their demanding a refund until you leave.
