Purchased clothes at Stein Mart, used my Debit card. Cashier showed me a brochure and said you can try your choice of magazines FREE for 3 months and will be notified when the 3 months had ended. Magazines were US and People. Never received any information concerning my subscription to the magazines. I was balacing my checkbook and noticed 2 charges reported on my debit card. Called every number I could find to question these charges Always received a recording. Finally talked to a real person. After a long conversation. She knew exactly what I was talking about. She said a credit would be issued to my debit card. I requested a conformation number which she gave me.
I plan a trip to Stein Mart to question why they are giving false information.
Will never shop there again!!!
