5 Star Resorts Marketing, Carlsbad, California False Promises to sell/rent timeshares

I was contacted through e-mail by Office Manager Elaine Cross with an offer to sell my timeshares by a reputable company connected with ARDA. The had interested parties to buy and rent my three timeshares. I requested information which was mailed from "John Goldstein" from GM 5 Star Resort Marketing. The Charges for rendering thses services were $696.00. (not a great dealof money for selling the timeshares forthousands of dollars each. The listing include a long list of services including the item "Buy/Sell/Rent TODAY! To expedite the form completion, I was requested to down load the required forms and mail them in. So done on 9-16-09, however I did not hear anything upon doing so. Upon inquiring, I was told the forms they received were inproper, and a second set of documents were received These completed on Oct 12,09.By this severel people were involved with this case. I was told they never received the 2nd set if fiorms or they could not locate them. A third set of forms was completed by me on Nov. 5,09. Again I heard nothing for some weeks. A Robbie O'Connor came into the picture stating that they enters interested in my properties and needed another $597.00 to rent the 3 units. This was also accomplished. No response from the various people and the weeks (and holidayswere coming closer every day. When again follinng up on 12-10-09, I was told they did NOT have the forms to rent the properties and could not foollow through with it. I insisted they DIODhave them and I was told they wouuld look into it further. Again NO return call and I called again on1-4-10, was told that parties were looking at the units. Calles again on 1-22-10 and was tols the rentals were in process. I have not heard from them since.
I did call 5 Star Resort again and requested to speak to a manager. Spoke to a gentleman (name unkown and I told him I wanted a refund and ofcourse NO. But if I sold the units he would give me my money back.By ths time I was fedd up and am in the process of securing a refund and make a report to the California State Attorneys Office. It is clear that this is another "scam" operation under the disguise of legitemacy by quoting their "good BBB" record and the ARDA connection.
