After recovering from a Divorce, and trying to rebuild Credit, Salute was one of the first Credit Cards I recieved, with a small registration fee, was approved of a $300 limit i think, with good standing, within 3 months, my limit was raised and within less than a year, i was increased to $800 limit i believe. I, myself always paying early and more than minimim payments, paid down to under $200.
I suddenly recieved an apology letter stating that this
Card company was closing and i could continue to pay my payments online and or mail/phone. Less than a month later, i recieved a $250 annua fee added to a close account from a company that CLOSED, plus a continued 8.95/month processing fee. And NOW, they do encourage u to pay online if you call, but that is only so they can charge you the $10 payment fee.
No MATTER what i do, i continue to owe more money. I still now owe $401.21 and there is always a nother new charge.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE ALSO IN WITH A CREDIT CARD COMPANY CALLED TRIBUTE AND ANOTHER CALLED ASPEN! AFTER A MATTER OF MONTHS THEY PULL THE SAME SCAM, AND at any given time you all one number to any of the companies, enter any account numbers and you the same people.
ALSO. They continuously change the online set up of their account programs so LITTLE or NOTHING of the history of charges and accounts are viewable. Beware and stay away from these.
