I have an older scanner and it stopped working. I have gone to ultra measures of uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and updates and still my old scanner wont recognize drivers anymore. I called hp and was on the phone for about an hour just to find that they only support by web. I followed the instructions on their website but still NG. This scanner is perfectly good but I guess the manufacturers expect us to throw it out and but a new one every time microsoft creates an issue with drivers because of their security and licencing updates. No wonder the japanese and china are kicking our butts.
