After my annual physical, I sent Walgreen's Mail all 5 of my new prescriptions. I gave written instructions NOT to fill 1 of the prescriptions, but to file for future refills. I had just refilled this prescription the week before. I received all 5 medications, with an invoice for the 5th one. I called and told them that they did not follow directions, therefore, I would not pay the additional money.
Under federal law (as I understand it) you cannot return prescription drugs.
I have had prior problems with this pharmacy, when ordering refils, they send a letter stating there are no refills left and I need a new prescription from the doctor. I keep copies of all prescriptions, and show them that there are refills left on the original prescription. These are not narcotics, but maintenance medications. On Several occasions, I have gone up to two weeks without medications due to delays caused by their errors.
They will take NO responsibility for their errors.
