Durmawand
Durmawand gives invalid zip to return goods, thus delaying delivery

I deceided to cancel my order with durmawand, after I read the customer service complaints. I cancelled via telephone on a Monday, within 24 hours of my order. The receipt says the item will ship in 2 weeks. On Monday, the customer service told me it had already shipped. She advised me to just refuse delivery, which would have had UPS return the item.

Instead, I went to the post office, after I received the item on 7 Dec. I returned it the day I received it. I paid the postage, and put a tracking number on the package. I used the address on the box, the one UPS would have used to return it. The zip code on the box was 91708. The address on the web site is 9170. This makes it purely a guess on which zip code to actually use. I used 91708, the address on the box.

I received a letter from them, in response to my written cancellation, which I sent certified, with a return receipt card, (which I haven't received). I thought the post office was suppose to take that with them before they left the letter. Any way, durmawan customer service stating in writing that I'd get a credit when they received the box. The agreement for purchase is all contingent on WHEN they get it back, that is "WITHIN 30 DAYS". I mailed this back on 7 December, and it is now the 15th of Dec. The box is held up in Chino Post Office, and has been since 10 Dec. I paid for a 3 day return delivery.

I'll be calling the Chino post office today, to find out what the problem is, and give them the alternate zip code, if they haven't already figured it out by today. This misinformation perpetrated by Dermawand, appears to be a blatant attempt to at least collect the shipping and first payment. If they did that to 1000 people, or even 1 million people, what is their profit for a cancellation legally. They know no one is going to hire an attorney to get it back, and good luck getting your card company to pull the order back. They don't care about the better business bureaus rating... They are here for a short run for the money, and then they are gone.

Someone stop these people!
