I took my 1986 Monte Carlo into Maaco to get some body work done and a paint job. I was supplied with all the details of the painting process and determined what "package" I was going to get. After 2 months, my car is still not finished. I have been back and forth to the shop, and each time, the car looks worse and worse. I have brought these issues to Mike (manager/owner) attention, and everytime, I get a "quick fix"... Either wet sanding, buff, touch-up paint etc... My car has chips in the paint (i don't think you should have chips in the paint when you LEAVE the paint shop). I have already paid my money, which is part of the problem, now that they have my money... They just rush to fix it and get me out the door... Hence the reason it looks terrible. When i try to complain or explain why i am mad, i get the brush off like im complaining about nothing. They are rude, very unsympathic to needs of the customer, uncaring. The list goes on... If I pay for a service ($2,000) I expect it to be done right. And if its not right, ok... But fix it correctly!!!
