Child support do they really want you to be able to pay? NO.
I pay child support for one child 500.00 a month and he does not even have shoes. I lost my job at the beginning of the year and requested from nash county Ceal Wood to go to court to have it reduced so i could pay while i was out of work. A month later i got a paper setting the court for next month then as it got close to the date it was rescheduled for twomonths later.
I have contacted governor easley about issues i have had with dss and he does not respond. I have told him that i have one child here that wanted to go to college and he basically said who gives a shit. All children do not get to go to college and she is one of them, i have sent email after email trying to get some answers about this child support and no one will answer me or call me. They just intercept my check when they want to and take whatever they want.
I pay almost 700 a month including insurance for the child i never see. I cannot refinance my home because i pay child support, i cannot get a tax decuction and he does not have to show it as income. I had to show tax papers but he did not, and they even showed his yearly income from last year to this year being reduced. They did not make him show his sidework. When i lost my job they took 409.00 a month out my unemployment. I have to pay to drive to see the child 4 hours one way and willnot even get to see him this year because his dad has vacation.
No one will return my calls, the governor keeps saying call nash county but they never call. They sent my court order and had marked through the order with a pen and changed the amount and then started taking it out of my check. I had contacted them to find out how much i was behind but they never responded never gave me an answer. I even told them if they would let me know what i was behind i would try to catch it up but never an answer. I even contacted the governor and they said last month they would send me a sheet of moy account but never got that either.
You cannot talk to anyone, they never respond they just take money out of your check. They do not want you to be able to pay they want you behind because the state of north carolina is so crooked they need the court fees. North carolina sucks and it is the crooked state i have ever seen in my life. And as for child support, their goal is to put you on the street not make it so you can pay, they donot want you to pay because if you do they haver no court case.
The lady beside me she has not received any child support in 5 years and i am about to go to jail. I am on the verge of loosing everything i have to pay chld support but know something they win i give up because you can never talk to anyone and if you do the are so rude and hang up on you. Even told the governor that. They called my job and talked so ugly to my employer, but know something they can have it there is no win and there is no paying, they hound you everyday and on your job and they donot want to talk to you because they are so crooked they do not want to face you and they cannot give you any anwers or tell you who is responsible.
So if you are in nc get out and if you are not don't come. Governor easleyand dss they don't care about the children. I think they make commission on who they can put on the street. You know where to get answers let me know.
