This liar rented an apartment to me in the spring of 2008. I spent about a month with my roommate living there. One day, after being out of town for 4 days, I came back to find the place had been burglarized. I called my roommate, who was also out of town, then I called the police. There was no forced entry to the apartment and all the doors had been locked. When the police came to file the report, I started noticing toys, soda cans, and other things in the apartment that weren't there before. This guy, jon, has 2-3 children, so I figured he had been in the apartment at some point. I looked around and noticed that the closet he was storing some clothing and shoes in was empty. Everyting he was keeping at the apartment was gone, along with roughly $1000 of my belongings. While filing the police report, I was informed that this was not the first time this had happened in this apartment. Days before I moved in, some other people had moved out under the same strange circumstances (to avoid libel, I am stating there is no PROOF that jon stole my belongings, but you can connect the dots yourself) The officer advised me to contact the building manager. I did and was met with the news that the $700 a month I had paid in rent, along with my security deposit of $700 had never made it to them.in addition, the sheriff should have been at the apartment 3 days prior to lock the doors, because 'jon' was being evicted.
