Verizon 's business model seems to be predicated on getting cities to give it service contracts and for customers to then sign up for two-year service terms, after which all customer service is abandoned. They have a service number to call, but good luck to you if your problem does not fit into the company's non-exhautive categories. Their television service has taken me back to some primitive era in TV reception, whereby the signal is lost at random, sometimes twice in an hour, and there is no way to get a cutomer service representative to look into the problem. I have sent several email messages to the company, since I cannot get any customer service person on the telephone. The company does not respond. It knows that I am committed to one more year of its lousy service, so it does not bother to respond. If I was not on a two-year contract, I would gladly unplug this mess and sign up with AT & T or the Dish, or any other company that knows something about customer service.
