GreenLeaf Modify - US Homeowners Relief
I never thought that I would ever be a victim of a scam artist. I always prided myself of being able to disern when someone was being honest or dishonest with me. But Mike Brooks from Greenleaf is the

Back in December of my 2/28 (2 year fix 28 year adjustable) mortgage was about to make an adjustable hike, and I knew that I was not going to be able to make the payments. So I got on line looking for a modification for my loan.

Mike Brooks from Greenleaf Modify called me within a few minutes after I had requested a Modification to contact me. We talked for at least an hour on the phone and told me everything that his company (GreenLeaf Modify) could offer me.

I was desperate so I told him that I would go through him. He informed me that I needed to send him a payment of $1475.00. So I notified my mortgage company that I was going to re-modify through GreenLeaf Modify. My mortgage company told me that they would re-modify my loan. Within days my mortgage company send me papers to sign and they gave me a good deal. So I called Mike Brooks and told him that I would not need to go through his company.

Mike Brooks told me to send the paper work that my mortgage company send me so he would look at it and if they could beat the offer he would let me know. Of course he called me the next day and told me that he showed the modification doc's to a lady in processing name Sue and she told him that GreenLeaf Modify could give me a better offer. So I believed him and I sent him the first payment of $1475.00.

I then notified my mortgage company and they told me that they were going to put a sales date on my home for May 6. I immeditely e-mailed Mike Brooks and he told me not to worry because after recieving the first payment the first thing that they do is they push back the sales date until the modification is complete.

So once again I believe him. On May 1st, I recieved a call from my mortage company they told me what my intention were concerning my home because the sales date was within a few days. I was surprized at the call because I thought that GreenLeaf Modify had already pushed the sales date back.

Once again I e-mailed Mike Brooks and he e-mailed me and told me that the sales was already pushed back and for me not to panic and for me to calm down.

On May 20th, I recieved a letter from Jennifer Wheeler (from accounting greenleaf modify) telling me that phase I & II were succesfully completed and order to complete the modification they needed the 2nd payment of $1475.00.

You could imagen the sign of relief I felt when I received that letter from GreenLeaf Modify. So I tried calling Mike Brooks to find out where should I send the 2nd payment. He didn't get of hold me until 5 days later. He gave me the address, so I went to my bank and made a cashier's check for the amount they wanted. I forgot to mail it that day, so that night I had a meeting that I needed to attend. When I got home that night there was a note on my door and to my surprized in was an inviction notice.

I called Mike Brooks the next day and I told him what had happen, and he said, "Let me put you on hold and let me run upstairs and talk to Sue to see what is going on."

That was June 5th, and I am still holding. He never called me back. I tried talking to Kurt Elkins (lawyer) Paul Bain (owner) Mike Brooks (sales rep) Jennifer Wheeler (finance dept.) and Sue from processing.

They won't return my calls, they won't send me my payment back.

What I do got on them is that I got all of Mike Brooks converstions with me on e-mail, all the promises and all the lies. One day I would like to meet him face to face.

I had to move out of my home after 14 years. My home was sold to a bank. The day I had to tell my family that we lost our home was the darkest day of my life.

So beware of GreenLeaf Modify aka US Homeowners Relief.
