In March I must have unknowingly signed up for a "Free" Sales Insider newsletter on a website. It was a surprise to receive the first issue in the mail. The 6 page newsletter was terrible and complete useless to me.
3 more issues arrived in the mail and remain unopened. Then an invoice arrived stating that the cost was $177 for a one year subscription. Since I did not recall ever ordering the newsletter I did not pay it. I receive many free industry magazines and newsletters and could not even conceive of paying $177 for a useless and irrelevant newsletter.
Fast forward to September... I received a very rude call from A.M.in collections. She was rude and completely unprofessional. She used the threat of this debt being turned over to the credit reporting bureaus and appearing on my personal credit report unless I paid up.
Terrible business Stay away from them.
