Apple's Snow Leopard operating system upgrade is offered at $29.95, but will be included with all new purchases. Those who purchased after 6/8/09, the date the upgrade was announced, may receive a discount of $20.00 on this upgrade. Having purchased a new IMAC on 6/6/09 I believed the discount should be extended. After speaking with numerous customer service reps I was told there was nothing that could be done.in contrast, when Windows upgrades their operating system you can upgrade free. This complaint is a matter of principle, the shortsightedness of Apple's supposed 'customer friendly' reputation does not extend to satisfying customers over simple matters such as this. I am frustrated, upset, and will now continue to let all who want to hear how poor this company's attitude is to their customers.
