Apple iPhone 3g Operating System (OS) ripoff! My Apple 3g iPhone operates slower and is less user friendly since I downloaded the last OS recommended by iTunes. The new software is OS 4.0.
This new OS is clearly designed for their problem-plagued iPhone 4.0. The RIPOFF is that the OS messes up older iPhones like my 3g, making them much slower and much less user friendly.
I have talked with Apple and with AT&T and there is NO FIX available. This is a total outrage. I am still paying $100 a month for this phone and Apple is DELIBERATELY making it slow and hard to use with an OS that messes it up.
The old OS worked fine on my iPhone 3g, and is available on the internet, but the current configuration of iTunes for synchronizing iPhones and updating software doesn't allow for you to get an older version of the OS, only newer versions.
This is a total RIPOFF. I now have gone from a phone I loved to a phone I hate because Apple has done a number on its customers with this new OS. Apple needs to offer a FIX to the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Apple iPhone 3g users out there, all of whom are angry and frustrated just like me. I will never buy another iPhone.
