I received a letter in the mail from a grant broker named Linda Spaulding at the greendot grant program. The letter had a check attached at the top for the amount of $ 946.00. The terms and conditions state that i must 1st cash the grant which was provided by cornell enterprises and send Linda Spaulding a mommission fee of 4.055% within 5 days of cashing the check.
The check has the USbank logo in the upper left hand corner and also has a check number and acct number on the bottom. I called US Bank to confirm the check and the representatives told me that the check was a fake. The letter from Linda Spaulding said that uppon cashing the smaller check of $946.00 and complying with the terms and conditions, a much larger check in the ammount of $9054.00 would be sent via airmail express the next day.
I feel that an injustice has been done and will be willing to do whatever it takes to bring this company down. I dont want this to happen to others. As the letter indicates I am somone who could use some financial help. This news was music to my ears.
I am glad that I am smart enough to investigate these types of things. I feel that US Banks name was used to lead me into to questioning the situation as well as cornell enterprises. If anyone wants to contact me in regard to this issue i am willing to comply
