I cancelled my service the third week of June on June 26th DIRECT TV said via email they sent me two recovery kits for my equipment, as of July 8th I had not received the kits and called them to inquire about them, I was concerned that I would be charged for the equipment - my boyfriend had a negative experience with this before with another provider and I did not want any issues. I was told they should be here anytime and if I did not have them in two weeks to call back again. Yesterday, they charged my account over $400 for unreturned equipment, I am outraged! I called them with my bank on the line and was on the phone for an hour with at least two different people, including a Supervisor trying to get it resolved. If anyone else has had this problem, please email me or respond to this complaint, this is criminal what they are doing to people. Perhaps a class action is in order to stop them from these kinds of practices.
