This banks overdraft fees are outrageous. At 39 dollars per check overdrawn... It can wipe out a weeks pay check in no time. Accidents happen. Most consumers are careful about their spending and do not overdraw their accounts on purpose.
I think if a person has a good record and credit history that these fees should b e waved after the first charge.
The second problem is the way they list the incoming checks online. The state ment reads the order of checks incom ing one way and the next day when you check your online account the list is totally different. THis can cause a real mess if one is overdrawn.
What is up with that???
I am at a loss as to what to do. Short of cash only transactions...
