I've translated for Adapt linguistics three months ago and i had a PO from them saying i will be paid within 30 days of the delivery of translation, when i saw that payment is not going to happen, after million phone calls and emails, i decided to put a bad feedback on a translator's site, warning my collegues about this company, to my surprise, adapt got back to me on mail saying that i will have to remove the bad feedback if i want to be paid! Don't we already know this story from the past? To my surprise, another collegue of mine wrote me a mail telling the same blackmail story they did on her and she had no choice but to give up and remove the bad feedback, what a shame! My intention in putting this bad feedback was to warn my collegues so they wouldn't have to work for nothing!
Translation is not an easy job and it deserves to be appreciated and certainly paid for! It is a pitty!
