Ultra Imaging Security of Santa Anna California is a rip off. Bottom-line up front, they provided me with a worthless system with no hard drive and then refused to refund my account after returning it to them.

At first they appeared to be a positive company. I ordered a Web based DVR security system for $599.00 by calling their 1800-862-7878. It was a 160 GB DVR with 4 cameras. The sales lady was polite and assured me the system would ship that day, and I would get an email with tracking numbers and receipt confirming the amount charged to my card. After about 3 days, I called because I had received neither. On this ocassion I spoke with a Mr. Scott Christie, who could not find my order. So he promised that he would over night the order and send me a receipt by email. The next day I got the system but the cameras weren't compatible with the system. I called again and as promised he over-nighted adapters to make the system work. The system was generic with no brand name of any kind, no manufacturing data ect. I tried to get the system to work and it would not connect to the I-net. The following week, another system appeared on my porch. I asked Mr. Christie why did I get another system and he explained it was a mistake and would give me $150 to return it. After a few days of trying to get the system to work I kept getting a "no hard drive found" message on start up. I opened a front panel door housing the HD to find it empty. I opened the second system and it had no HD either. I contacted Mr. Christie and as promised, he over-nighted a 500 gig HD. It was not compatible with the system. I notified Mr Christie that I was returning both systems and wanted the $599.00 credited back to my account. Based on the tracking data, both systems were delivered back to the company, but my $599.00 was never recredited to my account. I spoke with Mr. Christie and he told me it was an oversight. 2 months went by and my account was not recredited. I spoke with another man at the company about the issue and he told me the account had been credited but the credit card company was holding up the refund. I went to my bank a few blocks away and told them what I'd been told. They thought it strange and called the company. They spoke with a male who claimed no one was available to discuss the problem. I had to file Dispute resoloution which the card ruled in my favor.
