Failed to pay for work done

I leased my truck on to RJR right after Christmas. They failed to tell me that they were not current in paying the contractors already leased on. If they had, I would have told them I'd had my phil, and walked back out the door.
I stayed with them only 6 weeks. They had paid me $990.00, plus fuel money in that time.
When I left that owed me $5,889.99, by their numbers. It should have been even more, but they don't pay for dry runs or deadhead for the dry runs.
In March, their accountant rose up and said I would be paid $500.00 or more a month until their obligations were met. The last time I received a payment was April. So, as of Canada Day, they are actually located in Windsor, ON, I'm owed $4,889.99.
