I am surprised that I am not alone in this $72 ripoff scheme by this fraudulent company.
Like those who have posted before me, i stumbled across this company through a "testimonial" called "Mary's Bailout."
In that "testimonial, " Mary states how she was able to get a grant from the gov't by following Step 1: get the CD for a low shipping fee of $1.98. Then she explains how she started her own online business through Google (Step 2), using the grant money she received from the grant.
I was hesitant at first, as i didn't immediately order the CD. I actually waited a few weeks before deciding to take Step 1 of Mary's Bailout. A day or so after i had ordered the CD, i received a phone call from the company stating I had a 21 day trial period, and that i could cancel anytime during that trial period.
Well, 21 days had not passed when i checked my account statement online and noticed the $69.95 fee from the company. On top of this frustration, i NEVER did receive a CD in my mailbox. So, now i was being ripped off for $1.98, which brings the total amount to almost $72! Like you, i was upset, and emailed their customer support questioning these charges, and asking them to remove me from their databases.
I too have been getting the runaround from this company, and have asked my credit union to investigate this charge, which is in process as you read this complaint.
Folks, i URGE you to ignore "Mary's Bailout Plan" or any other work from home testimonial similar that has these two dead giveaways: STEP 1: click here to get your FREE grant package (only pay $2 for shipping). STEP 2: click here to get your GOOGLE business kit (only pay $2 for shipping). It's a scam.
