I've purchased one adult ecoCanteen with which the company promised:
"we'll also include an insulated tote ABSOLUTELY FREE, just pay $4.95 processing and handling. The FREE tote will keep your beverages cold throughout the entire day."
The tote that I received is absolute junk - no insulation, covering only half of the bottle, made from an oilcloth or something like this.
I called the customer service 888 229 9543. The representative answered that I can return the tote if I don't like it. I asked if they can cover my shipping costs but the answer was 'No', she said there is no supervisor and she is alone there and even if I complain through the mail the complaint will still go only to her.
I asked if they can send me the insulated tote that is still advertised on TV and on their WEB site. The answer was they found the advertised tote is dangerous as it broke away. I said I'd like to have it anyway. She answered: no they don't send it anymore.
I find this absolutely outrageous!!!
