I got a call from Readers Service telling me that I was getting promo magazines from them. At first I was skeptical but then they said they would not charge anything, but I could place an order in the enclosed information that would be in the magazines.
So I agree to get free magz but I still asked if I was going to be charged, and they said i wasn't. 4 days later i get a bill with no magazines saying that i need to pay 49.90 dollars for 20 months for a total sum of $998. Also in the letter it says that supposedly I subscribe for 5 years of service. I canceled my credit card and I'm going to called them on Monday to cancel this "service". Can anybody tell me what to do?
