CNA National Warranty Corporation
Cna national warranty corp. Will not honor there contract! They will find a way out!

I took my vehicle in to Carmax with issues I was having. The first, my steering wheel was shaking while driving on the highway, and the second was the brakes felt as though they were not functioning properly having not enough pressure or resistance or too much. When noticing this I immediately took the vehicle in. Carmax looked at the car and advised that I had contaminated brake fluid which was the problems. This seemed odd to me, so I inquired as to how this could happen. Tay, the Carmax Service Desk worker posed a scenario in which some foreign fluid, other than break fluid, may have been mistakenly poured into the brake fluid resevoir during an oil change had I had that done at another business. I reminded him that Carmax is the ONLY place I take my car for service. My car goes in every 3000 miles for oil changes. I even had my inspection done there! I told him that if somebody poured anything into my brake fluid it would have to have been them! It was sent to a local GM dealer, Radley Chevrolet, for a second opinion. Tracey at Radley to me it was a bad brake vacuum booster, which was causing my brake fluid to BOIL and appear contaminated. Also a loose sway bar was causing the wheel to shake. This sounded like a more believable scenario. The warranty company approved the repairs and the work. I was then contacted by Tay from Carmax on 06/23 who told me that when Radley was test driving the vehicle the calipers were locking up due to premature damage from the booster. Also, my pads and rotars had premature damage as well. CNA denied the pads and rotars from being fixed, even though prematurely damage from this booster problem, and advised they would have to send a warranty investigator to inspect the calipers. I called CNA and spoke to Joe Coffaro on 06/24/08 to inquire when the guy was going to come out, and he advised he already had and the claim was denied! He advised the "test" that was completed was to the extent of the "inspector" noticing the brake fluid "smelled funny"! Are you kidding me?! Is this the scientific testing completed to ensure that I dont drive off with my 3 kids and get into a wreck from faulty brakes?! This is unacceptable! I have spoken to my brother-in-law, who IS a mechanic, and he advised that Radleys' explanation of the problems is the best fit for the problems. Now my vehicle is completely undriveable and I will have to have it towed 40 MILES AWAY to have it repaired on my dime! I have researched CNA and the have MANY complaints filed with BBB, and also online such as usacomplaints.com. I read through these compliants and they sound like mine. Please help me resolve this issue and stop this company from ripping off anybody else. I paid for their service and its their obligation to ensure that this vehicle is safe to drive my wife and 3 kids around in. Based on what you've heard hear, would you put you kids in this car?
