I gave Poni Howard a dog in April. He said he would work with her and would pay me later, so I gave him the dog in good faith, I held her papers. A month later, in May, she was shot and killed on his property. The dogs were left home alone for an extended period of time, including overnight, and were shot early in the morning while he did not return until later in the day. The person who shot all his dogs was apparently by an enemy of his or was owed something. There was a police report made for the killed dogs, with Kankakee County.
Unfortunately, they were not the first dogs to have died on Poni Howard's property. He is not a responsible individual and should NEVER be trusted with the care of a living animal. He is a con. I never got an apology for the death of the dog whom I trusted him to care for. I wish I would have never given him my dog.
I was never paid a dime the dog, and a balance remains due.
