Howard Helfant is not to be trusted.
I attended his 'kick-off" party in Boca Raton for Howie's Hot Shot which was a complete joke. Being in the liquor business for over 25 years, I attended this party to see what the buzz about Howie's Hot Shot was all about. I introduced myself to Howie and he could care less about who was there and what I could have done to help out his company. So after I was insulted, I decided to do some research about this man. It turns out that Howard Helfant was a convicted felon and spent several months in jail. Howard Helfant was selling illegal drugs on the internet thru a company called EVA Global. He was convicted and served time.
I then found out that he was an investor in Silver Dagger Vodka which was ripping off customers and vendors.
