Upon closer examination of my credit card statement, I noticed that there was two seperate dates that had charges on there for $61.02. One charge listed from Free5000minute.com and one was from Direct One LLC. I called the credit card company and they gave me a phone number to call: 800-435-8304 this number is "not in service".

I then called information to see about getting numbers for any of the other name's that the company had billed my card under. I was finally able to get one number: 714-384-7860 and got a message that said to call back another time. I have spoken with our credit card company several times and have since had to cancel our card.

I finally was able to get ahold of customer service representitive (Leslie X214) and she told me that on Jan 23, the company called our home number and was authorized to charge us for this. I told her that I thought that was strange as we lost our house to a fire back in Oct and haven't had a "home" number nor even a home for that matter. She then started to stammer and stutter. I then said that I wanted to know who called, what time they called and what number they called. She then stated that she was not able to tell me that as she didn't have that information.
I have NEVER authorized this company to charge me for any time of service not have I authorized this company to provide any services to me.

I wanted to know how they got my credit card number and who gave them permission to charge my card. She stated that they got the number from E-Universe. I then asked if they had written permission to charge us or any type of proof that they had permission to do this, and again she began to stammer.

This is theft as far as I am concerned.
This has created quite a bit of havoc for us. At this point, we are out $306. We recently suffered a house fire in which we lost EVERYTHING. We were using our credit card to purchase some of the necessary items so that we would have a consise record record of all of our purchases on one report. We now have had to close our account, and it will take 7-10 days for us to get a new card. After the emotional distress that the fire caused, the last thing we needed to have to deal with is a company fraudulantly using our card and stealing from us.

I told her all of this too. She never denied that they used it fraudulantly and all she kept saying was how sorry she was, not the company.
