I met Bobby about a year Ago in Africa. He had just come form the DRC and was staying in a hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. He purported to be a Millionaire from Malibu, California with Business Interests spanning from Hotels, Rehab Centres, Diamond and Gold Mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to say the least. Everything I would ask him he would claim he had serious contacts or had been in that Industry.
His first scam began with a Lady friend of mine by claiming he could sell her assorted gemstones in Germany. While in Germany, he called me insisted he had a FIRM offer for my gemstones. We traveled to Dubai later where I paid for Hotel/Accommodation but no buyers showed up. I left him with my stones on the premise he would sell them. Eight months later nothing had happened except promises of I will pay you next week! I ended up flying to the states in an effort to pick up my stones. He called me saying that my stones were STOLEN ON THE WAY TO FEDEX THEM TO ME!!!
In Germany he took off with unpaid hotel bills, scammed a Dealer friend of mine close to 20,000 Euro, had us pay other con men from DRC and Mali for Gold that did not exist.
He owes me in excess of $80,000 to date.
