Where to start! I noticed a similar report about this dealership... That 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP... I bought that! And they claimed they didnt know anything about the oil pan gasket, intake manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, head gasket. Or anything else along those lines. They would not talk the price down and also didnt let me drive it until the day of purchase.
Im young and still learning. This is my first encounter with a dealership like this. Im from Boone Iowa small town were everything is straight forward and honest. The first oil change I had on this car was a mechanics nightmare. He quoted me $1300 in just gaskets alone. The car wouldnt hold a quart of oil if its life depended on it... But funny how that didnt start showing up until about four or five days after I got it home.
Also they charge 20 dollars late fee if your payment doesnt go through? Both times my money was in the account and some reason wouldnt be taken out so I got charged both times. And just now my car was taken from me (repossesed) They also told me I could not take my stereo system or anything attached... Well I took everything besides my wires hooking the system up. I took my deck, subs, headlight covers and anything else. This is the first day it was taken and I will be doing something about this. Rip off!
