Jackson Crowder & Assciates PA organized in FL, aka Crowder Law Group, uses sales people to take money from unsuspecting people. The sales people promise them anything, and then take their money for bankruptcy (when many do not qualify), and promise loan modifications that they cannot achieve. The organization is run by a CA attorney, not licensed to practice in Florida where the operation is located.
If you have been ripped off, contact the CA Bar, to file a complaint, and the Attorney general in your State. It is possible that you can get your money back or at the very least make certain they do not pull this scam on another person. What they are doing might be prosecuted as a felony... Or fraud, by the State.
It is illegal and a complaint can be made to any bar association when lawyers use deceptive advertising to solicit business. All people of a law firm are required to be supervised by a lawyer licensed in the State.
Before you use any law firm or sales people saying they are paralegals and give money:
1) Go to the Sec. Of State web site in your State to be certain the company you are giving money is legal to do business in your State. If they do not show up on that site? They are generally frauds.
2) Find the name of their attorney on your State's Bar Sight, such as Florida bar.org or Ohio Bar.org
3) Then if you cannot find those people and the organization in yor State, immediately contact the attorney general in your State.
