Phone I purchased from Cricket was dropping texts, calls and charging roaming in non roaming areas, went to Kiosk in mall where I made purchase of two phones, one for me and my daughter, and was told by attendant that problem wasn't with phones but in line, that I needed to go to corporate store. When I went to the aforementioned store, I was waited on by Sales Rep, Wesley Bryant. Before I could get any explanation out he interupted me and said it was my phones battery without looking at my phone. I told him about the revelation of the attendant at Cricket Kiosk. "We don't have anything to do with them." Bryant went on to say that thier equipment was "crap." I told Bryant about the roaming minutes that were used in non roaming areas. "Well, Clarksville has roaming areas." I reiterated that I was charged in non roaming areas. When I hung up and tried again, then the roaming didn't come on again. It was unstable. Bryant went on to say that, "due to the time of year, there are more leaves on the trees and the leaves interfere with the service." I asked him if Cricket would replace the roaming minutes that I was erroneously charged due to the "leaves on the trees interference". Bryant ademantly said, No. Cricket was not responsible for the loss of minutes that I paid for because it was my fault." I asked how it was my fault. Bryant claimed that I should turn off my roaming. I explained that I never had to do that in the past. I'd had the phones for two years. This was a recent problem. He said, "too bad, if I don't turn off my roaming then it was my loss." I was totally taken aback by his unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. When I called the 800 Cricket number, the operator said that Bryant should have offered to "refresh" the phones to solve the problems that I was having with the two phones and she went on to say that Clarksville is a Cricket area that I shouldn't have had any Roaming charges apply at all and if I did, the Cricket Corporate Store should restore those minutes that I was erroneously charged. She also went on to say that trees never interfered with service before. I explalined to the operator at the 800 number that Bryant worked at the corporate store in this area and refused to offer any assistance and refused to replace my minutes. He endeavored to badger me into buying a new phone intimating that the one I had was crap. After, I spoke with the manager at the Clarksville Cricket Store, who appeared to be very pleasant, and she promised to get to the bottom of the problem and call me back. I promised her that I was not rude, or abrasive, but Bryant was. I have a friend that works at that store, who I usually deal with but he was at lunch that day, but he could tell her that I'm not obnoxious, and we get along well, but Bryant was obnoxious and refused to offer me honest and fair consumer service. I'm still waiting for the manager to give me the call back with the resolution. But, Bryant pretty much let me know that he wasn't worried about reprisals.
