My wife was injured at work. They even had it on camera. Very legit injury. We hired the law offices of Deirdre Frank! Big mistake! My wife just had an MRI done and it has not even been read by the physician yet and they told my wife she may have to return to work. They also stopped he comp payments to see if the company can give her modified work. Well heres were the problem starts.
My wife is seriously injured has her arms going numb. No way in the world should they be talking about modified duty yet, She needs to be treated and fixed first. We call the attorney and tell her comp has cut off payments and they are saying they want her work to comply with modified duty.
They do not pay you comp in advance this is money owed for time she has already been off due to injury. We called our attorny 3 days in a row and all they could say is the adjuster has not called us back. So we called the adjuster and talked to the supervisor, The supervisor told us she was sorry there was a mistake and she will release the check right away.
We called our attorney back to let them know we were not happy with how they are handling the case. Mrs Deirdre Frank was very mean and unconcerned with our case and told us to find a new lawyer.
We were going to fire her anyway and I think she knew this, never the less it is totally unethical to abandon your client or not do your duty for your clients best interest.
There are to many Lawyers like this out there and people should Beware of them. I have no respect for this attorney or her firm, I am filing a complaint with the California State Bar Assoc.
I am also telling everyone I know to Never use this Lawyer or her firm. They are Lazy and disconcerned with there clients.
I will also tell you all that if my wife gets sent back to work before she is treated We will sue The Law Office of Deirdre Frank for misconduct and misrepresentation. Save yourself the headache get a real lawyer and one that just.
As I was sitting here writing this the adjuster just called me and told me they are sending her check today but may want her to return to work next week. She has not even had her mri read and she is on 4 different nerve and pain killers... Looks like we will be sueing Deirdre Frank also...
