Fradulent Promises In Making Big Money In A Minimuim Of Three Months

On 11/27/08 a Mr. Don Schnook called identifying himself as the Marketing Director for Advanced Merchant Capital. He first asked if I had credit card debt that I would like to pay off and of course I said yes. He continued to probe and asked me how much credit card debt did I have and would I like to have it paid off very quickly. He was trying to convince me to charge the advertisement of $7,500.00 and assured me that I would recoup this amount back in less than three months. I kept saying No! He said to think about it and he would call me back the next day.'

He called back on November 28 and again on December 1. He was at the office past his work hours. He was very convincing. I told him I could not afford to charge $7,500.00 to my card because I didn't have that kind of money to pay it back every month. He guaranteed me I would recoup this and more in less than three months and would start seeing results very shortly. He would be setting up 15,000 call blasts once a month for six months. He convinced me that he had other clients that were very satisfied with their campaign and would request $50,000 worth of call blasts at a time. He said if he was not telling the truth, and didn't see any results, I could call my credit card company to reverse the charges and he wanted repeated business from me.

He told me to call him anytime for questions (1-800-349-3049), his secretary (Amber Armstrong 1-800-349-3049) or Theresa Downs (1-800-383-2109). He was very anxious to get me started. My call blasts would start the following Monday, December 8. The $7,500.00 charge would show under UBS (Ultimate Business Solutions).

On Tuesday, December 2, I received an email from a company called Edgemont Productions showing a change of $2,500.00. I was puzzled and called Don Schnook. However, he was not available. I called Amber. She said she was not his secretary but would leave him a message to call me. He called back a few hours later stating he didn't know why it was charged to Edgemont Productions but sometimes the office does things differently.

At this point, I began to doubt everything he told me. I asked him when would I get the information in writing he promised. He indicated he would overnight it to me. The following week I received a few postcards and a few business cards with the name of Advanced Merchant Capital. I was astonished. I called and left a message that I charged $7,500.00 to my card and this is all I get. Where are the promises in writing of what you are going to do for me based on our conversation.

I never got anything in writing and I called and left several messages. The people I talked with were in customer service and they had never heard of
Don Schnook. On December 11, I called my credit card company to dispute the charges.

Currently, I am still going back and forth with the credit card company. They have reversed the charges twice until the dispute is resolved. UBS and Edgemont provided fradulent documentation to my credit card company which as I write this, I will be replying back to my credit card company showing where they took my name from another form I signed and transposed it to the form that states there are no refunds or credits. This is fradulent and I will take them to court for this. I never signed this particular form and this was my first time ever seeing the form they sent to the credit card company.in addition to that, they wrote in the date which is not my handwriting and wrote in the wrong city on the fradulent form. These people are scandalous and dishonest.
