I received a bill from my regular provider which contained a charge from USBI. They said that I entered a sweepstakes and agreed to take their service if I could enter the sweepstakes. First of all, I will not enter a sweepstakes on the internet (at least knowingly) and for sure, I would not agree to change phone service. My wife handles that portion of our household operation.
I would like to see the ingrates that do this punished to the fullest extent of the law! However, can I assume that there is no law covering this type of stealing over the internet, if there was I can't imagine it continuing.
