Mogul Marketing Job seekers beware! Mogul Marketing now named Intercept marketing - Total Scam!

Hello,

I am a job seeker that will choose to remain anonymous. I recieved a call from Mogul Marketing, Inc. Now named Intercept Marketing regarding the resume I posted on careerbuilder's website.

I came in for an interview which lasted about 10 minutes then I was dismissed for the rest of the day, not thinking I would recieve a call back from them. They called me back that evening to conduct a second, full day interview the following day. They said this was to see if I would be a good fit for their company.

I spent the rest of the next day driving around with one of their trainers doing cold call sales. At the end of the day they offered me a job. I was told that I would be with a trainer until they felt that I could do cold call sales on my own. They said that this would be the only way to work my way up to the position I originally applied for, accounting manager. They claim to have a one year career advancement plan in which you will be promoted based on the level of sales you make. Don't buy in to this job trap!

They promise you anything, even that you will run your own office within a year's time! What they don't tell you is that they will send you to impoverished areas of the city that are not profitable. They only send a select few to the weathier, higher income areas where their sales are successful. I saw first hand how two of their trainers did not make enough money to cover their own gas mileage! Thats right, they expect you to have your own transportation and they won't riemburse you for your gas! They train you on a pushy sales pitch that has a very low success rate.in short, they set you up to fail, in every possible way.

I spent a total of five days training with this company. I was not paid for my for my time nor was I given the opportunity to make income.

This is not a job for any responsable adult who has bills to pay and a family to take care of. This is just one of the companies that are taking advantage of the job losses that are occuring all around the country. There are many professionals like myself out of work. If you are looking for a job, beware of marketing schemes presented as opportunities!
