My elderly mother recieves 5-10 pieces of scam mail everyday and she continually believes that if she sends 59.95 that the company will send her $10 million.
This scam is more slick. It mentions $500 gift certificate, you pay only shipping and handling... Sounds somewhat credible? But they target non computer using elderly and specifically state "IF YOU DON'T HAVE INTERNET ACCESS, send 4.95 for our catalog. These people (like my mom) can not go online to research and are suckered into sending 5 bucks...
