About 6 months ago i was, "cold called by the home modification network. They had an automated phone service that allowed you to request an evaluation wether or not i qualified for a home modification. I requested a rep. To call me back and explain more about this modification.
Well', about two days later i recieved a call back explaining the process and told me that it seems with my finatial situation, i would qualify! I was told to start the prosses i would need to write a check for $1,500 by the 15th of that month to start the modification and then another one for $1,500 by the end of that same month. I complied with there request to pay for my modification and reconciliation under the understanding that now that they were paid i would be a priority!
I waited approx-15 days with no return call or comunication from them at all. Finally oi called and was told, "these things take time and we need to let your morgage laps for at least two months before we can send them any letter in regards to our requst for a home loan could be sent. This puzzled me but i had heard of other people that had gone through this home loan mod and was very hopefull..
I had my wife-"manager of my small buissnes call several times to check up on the status of the mod to be put off till last month. A gentilmen by the name, "Al jimonez called me and told me that my morgadge company had finally agnoladged my letter and that now it was a waiting game... I had reminded him that now from the minute of your call it had been three months since i had paid morgadge and i asked him, "are you sure i souldnt make a payment or call my morgadge company myself"? He atimattly said, "oohhh no we wouldnt want them to denie you of your modification by making a payment". Very hesitantly i complied with Al to last week get very concerned with a phone call i recieved from home loan moddification!
I was called last week from them and it wasnt Al jimonez, it was someone that i did not know and had no comunication with ever asking me to resend my information, "bank statements, tax docs ect..., I asked her why that was? She told me that arrora had requested it and they are doing the waiting game again once the resubmit my info to my morgadge company. I asked her again if i should call my morgadge company and comunicate with them on this? She again said, "nooo it might detriment the prosses and possibly make it take more time, and that she gave me her promice that theyu were in comunication as well as payind a lotg of time to my mod...
Well with it being over 4 months since i had maid a payment i could no longer trust them with my families well being, so i called my morgadge company! I spoke to a rep that told me theye nhad not been contacted by anyone and that i could of done it becouse i was a freddie mac type of loan anyways. He also let me know that i myself can handle my home loan modd myself and helped me get more done in 20 min than this home loan moddification company had done for me in 4 months!!!
Soooo, that day i had my wife phone, 'Goldfield associates to request our mony back immidiatly'!! MY wife phoned them to request a refund and was delt with in a totally innapropriate maner! Suposidlly, the person that now was in charge of our case would probablly be fired if we withdrew? My wife continuosly told them to return our money and completly withdraw us from there program! Then the owner of Goldfield and associates interupted thye person my wife was talking to. He began to say that Al jimonez no longer worked for them and had started his own buisness and we were probably in conjuction with him? This is assnine! I simply could not believe this so i called them this morning.
I phoned Goldfield and assosiates, "home loane modification", and a lady answered the phone. I told her who i was and she asked yes ian how are you? I told her how troubling it was to wittness the herassment of them not taking my wifes request to cancle any and all work they incisted theye had done and were performing and they kept calling here cell phone, "Mrs Cordle you must be moving your rec onciliation over to Al jimonez"' or, "your dicitiion is going to get this one lady fired"?? I then told them that i incist that they return my money immidiatlly"!
I am absolutly appaled on there profecianalism and straight lyeing saying that they put time into this when my morgadge company knows nothing about them. I will be forced to sue goldfield if my money is not returned to me by the beginning of next week. Now that buissness has picked up substantially, I am able to get an attorney and persue some kind of licence revoking as well as go publick with media if not paid in full immiediattly!!! Specially since they are working without a liceced buisness and the fact that they are taking money from people for work they are not even lifting a finger to perform!!!
