Wile back, i wanted to save some money on cable, so when i got this flier from AT & T with an offer about getting cable I called in. Yes, they hooked me up whit DISH NETWORK. The offer was, no connection charges for up to 4 rooms for the price of $36.00 dollars per month. I was going to get so many channels. Dang! I was happy. Well, the tech arrived to my home the next day around 7:00 p: m, stating he had worked late that day. The tech took about 2 hrs to do the job, he give me a contract to sign in a hurry, I didn't read it, it was late I was tired. The first day, I notices, yes I had so many channels, but they were the same programs in most of them, so I called in. I expressed to them, I was not happy whit the programming. So, the lady apologized and promised more channels for only few more dollars. Well, my kids were happy, they had cartoons. When i got my first bill, I almost fainted. There was charges for each connection, for each receiver, for insurance etc, etc. My bill every month was for more than 60.00 only for cable!!! So, i called in again, at & give me credit for some of the charges but each month it just kept on going. Untill one day in February, i decided to disconnected it. The attendant at that time, made clear to me I was going to be charged for disconnecting before the 2 year contract, which I agreed. Later on, I got a bill from DISH NETWORK for $250.00. I called in and they where ' nice' to deduct the $50.00. I try to negotiate to pay this bill thought At&t, but now they are telling me I can't do that. The reason, because they have nothing to do whit dish network, but before i was paying my bill trough them. This is my complaint, how come this people don't give the consumers their contract to read ahead of time, their contract is very extensive. Why lie about prices and charges? How come before you sing their contract they tell the opposite? Well, i learned my lesson, dint save any money, dint get any better programming, and my gastritis gone worst because this company deceived big time!!! Next time, if It ever happens, I will request 1 week at least, to read one of this contracts.
