My Finace and I won a trip when we went thru a wedding show. Again just like reading everybody else reports I couldn't believe I won. I am a very intelligent and educated individual but when I realized it was a scam it was too late.
I already paid 459.00 and I advised the company I would be using this for my honeymoon after our wedding. Well I put the money down almost two years ago and they said it would be good until I went on the cruise, well I called just recently and they said I would have to renew to go on the trip. Then I asked for my money back which they refuse to give me, so I decided to go ahead and pay 100.00 for renewal. So we will be going on vacation on June 1st thru June 8th. I paid $690.00 for the whole thing so far.
I asked if there was any hidden expenses, they advised me about the 300 for the rental car, taxes on the hotel and parking for the cruise.
I am working on calling the hotel information to verify what the extra cost would be for the rooms besides the cost of room.
The thing I am scared on is the scam of the TIMESHARE. How many timeshares do we have to attend. I will be confronting them with the additional expenses of $40.00 upfront. See if they ask me for these expenses.
I figure if I know what they going do to, to catch them in the act they will hopefully be more considerate. They like negotiations, so give them what they give back to us, the consumers.
Has anybody went on the jungle Queen Dinner Cruise, hows is it?
What I will do is email back on how the trip goes in detail for people that do get scammed like me to hopefully enjoy what you can get out of it.
