This company Green Bridge Lending is a complete scam. I needed extra cash to pay my home loan because my husband was laid off from his job and I was struggling to keep up the bills until he started to get his unemployment checks, I looked on the Interent for different loan companies. I came across Green Bridge Lending it sounded so good to hear that I was approved for a $5,000.00 loan and could receive it the next day. Since we didnt have good credit we were told that we would have to make a collateral payment of $760.00. It was that simple. So I got the papers faxed over to me and read and agreed to the terms.
I was unable to come up with the money that day, so we waited until our next payday. We were very excited. We called the Lending group our account reps name was (Bryan). He sounded very helpful. I went to walmart and called Bryan from Walmart to get the information of where to send the money gram. He told me that he did some refiguring and all I need to send is $720.00 and it would cost 14.16 to send the money gram (so obviously he has been doing this awhile) so I sent the $720.00 money gram to this company and thought that I would recevie the funds the next day.
Well the next day comes and we are calling the bank account all that day they promised it would be there before 5pm. On thursday. When I didn't receive the monies in my account then I called Bryon at Green Bridge Lending the next day and he stated that due to the credit check I had to send another 720.00 dollars to secure the loan, which would be put against my loan payment. Then he sent me to another person who was not an account representative. He was the so called 'manager' Micheal West and he would assure me that the money will be sent to me after I send the 720 dollars. I was kind of skepitcal and out of luck because I sent both of my paychecks to them I had no money for gas, or my bills and unsure how I would get back and forth to work. I didnt have 720.00 dollars to send. I even told Bryon and Michael both that if I didn't get this money fast that my house would be in foreclosure and they both assured me that wouldn't happen, because they already had a lender set up.
I called Micheal back that following Monday and said where is my money, its not in my account like you said it would be and he said I needed to speak with his boss. I was so upset that I don't even remember the guys name that I spoke with, because I was losing everything I have worked for and he said the lending company backed out of the deal and they were were suing them on my behalf to get the money back. So I had 2 choices either send another $720.00 or receive the money I have already sent in plus the moneygram fees back on March 20. I refused the offer and requsted that the money be sent back to me. It would be 2 weeks until another pay period I had no idea how I would make it. So today is March 20, and i havent received my money and the number to the company says the same thing every time i call.'Thank you, Good Bye' so we are at lost of $1500.00 and have no way on contacting the company so more than likey I willl not receive my money back. If there is anyone that can help me take action against this company please help. Your advice is really needed
