Recently got a call my phone bill was overdue? How could that be, well it was being billed from a third party billing ILD. I never ordered any services and so since I am disabled I had a friend with me and called AT&T and were told the problem was that I had ordered a service that was being billed from a third partyfamilycontact911.com. I told them I did not want this service and had never ever even heard of it. They said they would do a charge back to the company but advised me I must contact the company personally and cancel. I said this was not easy for me to do since I had never ordered it to begin with. I was so nervous what would the next bill be maybe even higher. I then called ILD the biller for this company and was told they could not help me the system was down and since they bill for thousands of other companies they could tell me nothing. I called them three times on different days and times each time the system was down and they could not give me any information. They wanted my number and said at some time in the future THEY would return my call and let me know a customer service number to call for information. I said I want no information I want this off of my bill. The opertor said I was rude and hung up the last time I called. I went to their webaddress with also no luck! AT&T still is being billed for this and sends the bill to me charges adding up and tells me they can NOT take it off of the bill! What a rip off! Is this a fraud or NOT!
