I opened an account with Bank of America when I got a new job here in Lubbock Texas just a few months ago...
I wanted to use a bank that had Online Bill pay... I had used bill pay with Wells Fargo before with no problems...
A month or so goes by with me getting all my bills set up...
I am given 3 accounts...
One for checking that is directly connected to my debit card. (that is when money is taken out of the account via debit card... It is done so out of this account...)
As Second account that is called the feeder... Account... (i was told directly that this account was to be used to cover my main debit card account...) that is to prevent overdraw... (ha!) there first lie...
Finaly I was given a Savings account...
I was also told that my Savings account could be used as an over draw account...
This was all told to me when I opened the accounts...
So I start paying my bills... I check my account online almost every day... (having run my own business before and done my own bills before I keep pretty tight records...) everything goes along just fine until one day... I get an email saying I'm overdrawn and must pay an over draft fee...
Looking back on it I figure it took Bank Of America this long to learn my debit and deposit habits...
So I check and sure enough in the space of only one day... My accont one debt card account is caught low enough to make an attempt to put one bill out and cause an overdraft situation... Even though the bill was not due yet... It went out the door... That is to say Bank of America Forced it out the door so they could collect a fee...
But at the time I figures... Ah... I was just not watching it like it should...
And I forget it...
Then the very next week I get a notice... Where they bounce my electric bill... I mean they completely bounce it... Or I should say they make it look like it bounced... So now I"m pissed... They not only have charged me $25 overdraft fee... They also have not paid my Electric Bill... Making me look bad to my other creditors...
So guess what I do... I go down the next day...
I pull the money out of the very same accounts... With plenty of money to spare... And go pay my electric bill in person...
I call I complain bitterly...
That friday I attempt to deposit my pay check with cash back... (as I always do...) and they refuse to do so... I ask for my check back and go to another bank where I have an account... That bank cashes it with no problem what so ever... Shows what Bank of America knows...
The very next day... A Saturday... I close my accounts... I am assured that they will stop payment on two remaining Bill Pay bills...
I tell the account person that I do not believe what she is saying... Because of all the mess ups that the bank has made already... She assures me that everything will be taken care of... So I move everything over to one of my other bank accounts... I set up Online Bill Pay that very same Saturday to take care of the Bills that Bank of America just couldn't manage to pay...
The Very next week I get a call from one of my associates saying... Why are you paying me twice?
I ask him what he means... He says I have to checks from you... One from Wells Fargo... The other from Bank of America... I tell him cash the Wells Fargo cause the one from Bank of America will probably bounce...
Then to top it all off I get a letter the very next day from the Electric company saying I have an enormus credit... From guess what... Bank of America paying my Bill that was supposed to have bounced...
Now did you get all that...
While I had money in their bank they came up with every excuse to not pay my bill until they could charge me an over draft fee...
Now that the account is closed... All of a sudden they seem to be able to pay all my bills...
But also take note folks...
Writing a hot check is a fellony...
These guys have declaired war on us all...
Did you understand what I just said folks...
These guys are economic terriorist... And if we don't join together to defeat them they will take down America... Make a mockery of the name they have taken..."America" they shouldn't have the right to even use it...
Bank of Anti-America is more like it...
I figure if they are doing this to a full grown man...
Then they certainly aren't afraid to do this to old ladies either...
These people need to be thrown in Jail... And every employee that works for them knowing that this is the kind of stuff they do should also have to do hard time for the advantage they take of others...
I'm ready to do something about them if you guys are...
