Mathew from AMG (American Marketing Group) Time Shares repeatedly called me to tell me he had a deposit of $2500 from a repeat buyer that wanted to purchase my timeshare for more than I wanted. He even went as far as giving me a number to contact a recent seller. I called the number and suprised whoever was on the phone and he said he would call me back. Yeah right. I checked on the Better Business Bureau and they had no reports on them as of yet. Matt then told me I needed to give him a deposit of $999.00 on a credit card to cover any costs but would get it back from the sale. I told him I would get a third party involved to hold the money in escrow, but he said that is not their company policy. I then did some research online and found a number of websites dedicated to exposing rip off companies doing the same thing. This company was not on the list yet. Thankfully I did some research because he made it sound so good that he almost got me. The address he gave me was differant than that of the website. He said the credit card payment would show up on my statement coming from His service staff at "Universal Solutions"
I hope this helps somebody!
