On February 10th I purchased airline tickets thru priceline. I went back in to change my seats so that my husband and I could be seated together. It was excepted and supossedly changed thru priceline, however when I confirmed my seats with the airline co. My seats were NOt changed on my outbound flight. I have a printed copy from priceline.
They aslo offered me a rental car at $9.00/per day for 3/12/09 thru 3/31/09 from DFW. However when I chose this car it was denied.
I tried to call them continously for 6-8hrs and never was able to speak to a real person, Only William Shattner recording.
I then sent them an e-mail and they responded with a phone Number to call and a request # to enter. When I finally reached a real person, she indicated that it was denied because they had NO inventory! Why would anyone list rental cars with NO inventory and then tell you it was denied because the price is to LOW!
I requested to speak to a manager, when I spoke with him, he said that the price listed there has to be negotiated. I asked Then why do you list this price and NO where on this web page do you state that it HAS to be Negotiated. If i wanted to negotiate the price myself I would have done that, But this price is what you have listed. He had no answer form me,
This is very misleading, and false advertisement, and fraudulant.
I would reccomend that SOMEONE REALLY SCRUTINIZE this company
