I went through program for 16 months paying every month
Only thing that happened is I got judgments and none of my credit cards went down.in fact creditors wanted interest for all of them.
Since they weren't doing anything for me I had to file bankruptcy.ccDN found out I was filing bankruptcy to get from under all this mess and they stopped doing anything for me. Even told me that I couldn't get any money back from them because that is not how they work. They sent me all of three different letters to use with the program and that was worth $12000.00 to them I guess. They didn't even help calling the creditors to find out what was happening with my accounts or anything.
Since I didn't really use them much over the 16 months I was in it I thought that I should have some money back. They went months without hearing from me and they didn't have to do anything for me in those months. Only when my accounts were sent to bill collectors did I send something off. Not happening every month.
I guess in the 16 months maybe 6 of those months did I ever use them. They then sent me letters to send to the collectors that did no good at all.
Does anyone know how to get at least some of the money back?
